The 1st Annual Smithville Spazz-Ma-Tazz was a great success. Henry Bullock did a very good job at his first try at race promotion. A big Thank You to all the volunteers, Earth Riders and the Mountain Bike Patrol for helping make this event happen. It was a Spazz Blast.It rained a good part of the day Saturday and the course got about 3/4 of an inch of rain. But due to great trail building the trails were in awesome shape and by the second lap were in sweet condition.
Congratulations to our newest Cow Town member Brent Gowin. Brent won the Sport 20-29 division with his teammates close behind. Ashley Blum took a well deserved 3rd and Jeff Arnaud a few seconds back in 4th. In the Marathon class old man Chris Locke took a well deserved 2nd place in a very competitive field.See you at the next race...
