The 1st Annual Shawnee Mission 3/6 Hour took place today at the very popular Shawnee Mission Park off-road trails. Conditions were needless to say HOT.Team Cow Town was also hot as the Duo of Rich Anderson and John Wagner won the overall 6 hour event with 12 laps. Solo winner was Cameron Chambers who posted 11 laps on this very hot day. Early race leader was former National Collegiate champion Jeff Winkler who finished off the day in 2nd place.
The 3 hour event belonged to Mark Studnicki as he set the fastest first lap and never looked back. Aaron Elwell was a close 2nd keeping Studnicki honest during for all 6 laps of their event. Cow Town's Tige Lamb rounded out the podium as Tige fought off cramps to secure the final paying position.
