Online registration is closed, but do not worry race day registration is available.  Registration/race number pickup begins at 8:30 am on Sunday.


Dr. Lindsay Gallion, DC with KC Core will be out again to support our athletes.   KC Core specializes in Sports Chiropractic and Active Release Technique (ART).  Stop by before or after your event.



Lantern Rouge will also be out Sunday  As always look for Roger out on course encouraging you to do your best.

We are excited to announce the 2017 Meltdown Mountain Bike Challenge.

Awards are ready for this weekends big event.  Custom mugs to top 3 in each division.  Kansas riders will also be competing for USA Cycling State Championship medals. 

Volunteers are the lifeblood of these events.  Please contact Carolynn if you can help out this year.

2017 God's Country Fat Tire Festival

Friday the Lawrence Mountain Bike Club will be out working on the course and getting everything setup for this weekend.  Any course changes will be announced on Friday afternoon.  Please check back. 

Cow Town Cycling presents the 15th Annual God's Country Fat Tire Festival.  We invite you to join us in Lawrence, Kansas  April 8 & 9, 2017 for this years Festival. We have two fun filled days of off-road excitement planned at the Lawrence River Trails.

    Saturday morning (9:00 am) brings us the God’s Country Off-Road Duathlon presented by Harwood Chiropractic.   For 15 years this has been a fun and challenging multisport event for all ability levels.  This year we again increase the fun opportunities by offering both Long and Short course options.  Age-Group, Clydesdale, Relay Teams and Unicycle divisions are available.  It’s a great event for first timers

    Saturday afternoon brings us a challenging 3 hour event - the God's Country Marathon MTB presented by Club Ride Apparel.  We have moved the popular Marathon event to Saturday which will allow everyone to enjoy the course and challenge themselves with the course all to themselves.

    Sunday is the popular God’s Country Mountain Bike Classic presented by VANDOIT.com.   This will be the opening round of the 2017 Unified Federation of Dirt West series.  Traditional cross country mountain bike classes for all ability levels Male and Female: Expert (Cat 1), Sport (Cat 2), Beginners (Cat 3), Clydesdale (225+) Juniors and Masters 60+.  We have also two special classes for this years event.  A tandem class and a  BMX division (BMX and Cruiser bikes allowed).

    Both days Stan will be providing free food.  We will also have free music. Come on out and get some FAT TIRE FUN.

    Winter Gravel Grinding Season

    The winter has set in and it is officially Gravel Grinding time. Cow Town Cycling will be leading gravel rides throughout the winter.  Come join us on these fun adventures.
