Winter Gravel Grinding Season
The winter has set in and it is officially Gravel Grinding time. Cow Town Cycling will be leading gravel rides throughout the winter. Come join us on these fun adventures.

2015 God's Country MTB Marathlon
Update: God's Country MTB Marathon now scheduled for 6/28/15.
Welcome to the God's Country MTB Marathon event. This year we are going back to basics with our annual spring event held at the Lawrence River Trails. Normally we hold a two day festival with an off-road duathlon and XC/Marathlon event. This year we are focusing on social gathering and riding our bikes at one of the best places for some "fat tire" fun. We plan to have a life band, free food and drinks and of course riding. Mid America Bank brings us the Fair Weather Criminals and Onward to Glory bands.
For those up to the challenge we have a 3 hour Marathon classes - solo and teams. We also have classes for beginners - a 10 mile loop on the Lawrence River Trails. Note: NO license is required. Signup today at the below link and save.

We could not hold events like this if it was not for the Lawrence Mountain Bike Club, Lantern Rouge Volunteer Group, Day Light Donuts. 9:45 am - Registration closes
9:55 am - Pre-event instructions and riders line up.
10:00 am - Event begins with teams and solo 3 hour
10:05 am - First time cross country participants begin.

Wyco's Revenge III Registration Opens
Welcome to the 3rd Annual Wyco’s Revenge Mountain Bike Race. Come challenge yourself to the full Wyco’s Revenge or one of our two shorter course opens Wyco’s Revenge Lite and Wyco’s Revenge Sprint With all events you get to enjoy a fabulous evening of riding the super fun Wyandotte County Lake Parks trails and hanging out with your friends.
What is it?: The Wyco’s Revenge is a mountain bike event held on off-road single track trails. The event will challenge participants both physically and mentally. The final laps of the Wyco’s Revenge will require lights. Full distance participants will complete 4 laps for a total of 60 kilometers miles. The Wyco’s Revenge Lite will complete 2 laps. The Wyco’s Sprint will complete 1 lap. No lights are required for the Wyco Sprint or the Wyco Lite.
Where is it?: The Wyco’s Revenge will be held on the single track trails of Wyandotte County Lake Park. Located in Kansas City, KS on the bluffs of the Missouri River. Shelter #3

Berryman Epic - A Great Time!
Another edition of the Berryman Epic is in the books. Each year this event grows (249 starters this year) and has become a "must do" event for anyone who calls themselves and endurance mountain racer. The promoters and Bass River Resorts put on "overall a great race" said endurance racer Tim Greene who enjoyed the day despite some mechanical issues to finish in the top 10 in the Male 50 - 59 division. After the race participants of the BT Epic enjoyed 2 kegs of beer and a bonfire and some great BBQ to replenish the fuel used for the race. Great time.....

LMBC Turkey Day Ride
A very fun day of riding out at Clinton. Thank you to the Lawrence Mountain Bike Club for hosting this annual event. We always look forward to it. Some pictures from the days ride.
