Maple Leaf Gravel Grind
Mark your calendars for the Inaugural Maple Leaf Gravel Grind bike race. The MLGG will offer 16, 35 and 70 mile course options that will highlight the fall foliage in and around Baldwin City, KS. But don't let the beautiful fall colors fool you, this race will challenge you and push your limits. Enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow riders and compete with your friends at this one of a kind event.
All proceeds raised for this race will benefit the Prairie Paws Animal Shelter in Ottawa, KS. Prairie Paws will also be onsite with animals for adoption from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. the morning of the event. So bring the kids and take home a new family member! In addition, the Ottawa Bike and Trail will be on site providing support to the riders and will be raffling a new bike that morning!
Upon the conclusion, be sure to stick around for live music from Drew Six from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., as well as food and beverage to celebrate your accomplishments! In addition, the BCRC Cancer Challenge will be taking place near the conclusion of the bike race. The Cancer Challenge includes a 5K Walk, and a corn hole tournament. All proceeds from the Cancer Challenge will benefit 3 year old Easton Base, a Baldwin City resident who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.

Time: Race will go off at 9:00 a.m.
Fee: $30 before race day, $35 day of. Be sure to get
registered by Friday, October 4th to ensure yourself a
free Swag Bag courtesy of Ottawa Bike and Trail!

7th and 8th streets
